Indications

  • Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration

  • Adult dosage: Montelukast 10 mg tablet once daily
  • Pediatric dosage: Montelukast 5 mg for 6-14 years, 4 mg for 2-5 years, 4 mg oral granules for 6 months to 5 years
  • Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients
  • No dosage adjustment in hepatic and renal insufficiency
  • Elderly use and dosage adjustments
