Indications
- Prophylactic management of mild, moderate, or severe asthma in adults or children
- Preventative treatment for asthma

Dosage
- For oral inhalation use only
- Starting dose appropriate to the severity of the disease
- Dose adjustment until control is achieved or reduced to minimum effective dose
- Usual starting dose for adults: 200 micrograms twice a day
- Starting dose for children: 50 to 100 micrograms two, three, or four times daily

Contraindications

Side Effects

- Possible systemic effects include Cushing's syndrome, Cushingoid features, and adrenal suppression
- Growth retardation in children and adolescents
- Decrease in bone mineral density, cataract, and glaucoma

Precautions & Warnings
- Proper use of the inhaler and technique check for drug reaching target areas within the lungs
- Use of Beclometasone Inhaler regularly, every day, even when asymptomatic
