Description
- Xolair is indicated for asthma, nasal polyps, and chronic spontaneous urticaria. It works by inhibiting the binding of IgE to the high-affinity IgE receptor, resulting in down-regulation of FcεRI and reduction of inflammatory mediators in allergic asthmatics, and by lowering free IgE levels in chronic spontaneous urticaria.
