Indications
- Relief of dry (non-productive) cough
- Pre & post-operative cough sedation

Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: Butamirate Citrate 50 mg tablet - 2-3 tablets daily
- Adult dosage: Butamirate Citrate syrup - 15 ml 4 times daily
- Children & adolescents dosage: Butamirate Citrate 50 mg tablet - varies by age group

Interaction
- Concomitant use with expectorants should be avoided
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient
Side Effects

- Adverse reactions such as rash, nausea, diarrhea, and vertigo (rare cases)
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoid use during the first trimester of pregnancy
- Caution during the remainder of pregnancy
- Use during breastfeeding to be carefully weighed against risks
Precautions & Warnings
- Avoid concomitant use with expectorants
- Risk of mucus retention and bronchospasm
- Consult a doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days (more than 3 days in children younger than 12 years of age)

- Symptoms: drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of balance, hypotension
