Indications
- Symptomatic relief of upper respiratory tract disorders
- Productive cough relief
- Nasal decongestant

Pharmacology
- Pseudoephedrine as a decongestant and bronchodilator
- Guaifenesin as an expectorant
- Triprolidine as an antihistamine
- Mechanism of action of pseudoephedrine, guaifenesin, and triprolidine
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) 3 times a day
- Children 6-12 years dosage: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 3 times a day
- Children 2-5 years dosage: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoonful) 3 times a day
- Preferable physician's advice for children under 2 years
Interaction
- Concomitant use with sympathomimetic agents
- Interaction with monoamine oxidase inhibitors
- Potential rise in blood pressure
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to constituents
- Cardiovascular disease including hypertension
- Lower respiratory symptoms including asthma
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) therapy

- Avoid in persistent or chronic cough without physician direction
