Dosage & Administration

  • Intravenous administration for endoscopic or cardiovascular procedures: 2.5 mg in healthy adults
  • Intravenous administration for induction of anesthesia: 10-15 mg
  • Intramuscular administration for adults: 0.07-0.1 mg/kg body weight
  • Rectal administration in children for preoperative sedation: 0.35-0.45 mg/kg

  • Enhances the central sedative effect of various drugs

  • Severe respiratory insufficiency
  • Severe hepatic insufficiency
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Sleep apnea syndrome
  • Known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines
