Description
Repose is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder (PD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). It has a pharmacological action of inhibiting CNS neuronal reuptake of 5-HT, leading to increased 5-HT concentrations at the synaptic clefts. The recommended dosage for adults varies depending on the indication, and caution is advised for pediatric patients, pregnant or lactating women, and elderly individuals. Repose may interact with other drugs and has potential side effects like upset stomach, dizziness, and drowsiness. It belongs to the therapeutic class of SSRIs & related anti-depressant drugs, and should be stored below 30°C, out of the reach of children.
