Pharmacology
- Acts as an antihistamine
- Labyrinthine sedative
- Peripheral antivasoconstrictor
- Selective calcium antagonist
- Inhibits Ca<sup>2+</sup> intracellularly
DosageAndAdministration
- Usual adult dose: 15 to 30 mg three times daily
- Children (5 to 12 years): Half of the adult dose
- Motion sickness: 30 mg two hours before the journey, then 15 mg every 8 hours
- Peripheral arterial diseases: 75 mg two or three times daily
Interaction
- No interactions with antihypertensives
- No interactions with diuretics
- No interactions with anticoagulants
- No interactions with hypoglycaemics

- No specific contraindications
- Use with caution in hypotensive patients
