Pharmacology
- Contains two active ingredients: Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate
- Cinnarizine belongs to the calcium antagonists group
- Dimenhydrinate belongs to the antihistamines group
- Works by reducing symptoms of vertigo and nausea
- Combination product is more effective than individual compounds
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 tablet three times daily after meals
- Children and adolescents under 18 years: Not recommended
- Elderly: Dosage same as for adults
Interaction
- Concurrent use of alcohol, CNS depressants, or tricyclic antidepressants may potentiate sedative effects
Contraindications
- Not for use by patients with severe hepatic impairment
- Contra-indicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients
- Should not be used in patients with angle-closure glaucoma, convulsions, suspicion of raised intracranial pressure, alcohol abuse, or urine retention due to urethroprostatic disorders

Precautions & Warnings

- Exercise caution in patients with Parkinson’s disease

- Ataxia with anticholinergic effects

- Flushing of the face
- Dilated pupils
- Tachycardia
