Indications
- Relief of symptoms in adults with acute and recurrent diabetic gastroparesis
- Treatment of symptomatic, documented gastroesophageal reflux in adults
- Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with emetogenic cancer chemotherapy
- Prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting
- Facilitation of small bowel intubation
- Stimulation of gastric emptying and intestinal transit of barium

Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dosage for adults less than 65 years of age
- Recommended dosage for adults 65 years of age and older
- Continuous administration for gastroesophageal reflux
- Intermittent administration for gastroesophageal reflux
- Administration for acute and recurrent diabetic gastroparesis
- Relief of symptoms associated with diabetic gastroparesis
- Prevention of nausea and vomiting dosage

Contraindications
- Patients with history of tardive dyskinesia or dystonic reaction to metoclopramide
- Stimulation of gastrointestinal motility might be dangerous
- Patients with pheochromocytoma or catecholamine-releasing paragangliomas
- Patients with epilepsy
- Patients with hypersensitivity to metoclopramide

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Pregnancy Category B
- No impairment of fertility or harm to fetus in reproduction studies
- Caution for nursing mothers
Precautions & Warnings
- Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) and Other Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS) avoidance
- Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) avoidance
- Avoid concomitant use of other drugs known to cause TD/EPS/NMS
- Avoid use in patients with Parkinson’s Disease
- Discontinue in case of symptoms and seek medical attention
- Avoid use in depression and suicidal ideation/suicide
