Composition
- Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel BP: 250 mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide BP: 400 mg
- Aluminium Oxide (Equivalent amount of Aluminium Hydroxide Gel USP): 175 mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide (Equivalent amount of Magnesium Hydroxide Paste USP): 225 mg
Pharmacology
- Well-balanced combination of essential non-systemic antacids
- No acid rebound, constipating, or cathartic effects
- High neutralizing power
- Slow sustained acid neutralizing property
- Adsorbent property
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet: Two tablets 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
- Suspension: 2 teaspoons 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime

- Inhibits the absorption of Ciprofloxacin

Contraindications
- Hypophosphataemia
- Alkalosis
- Hypermagnesaemia
- Abdominal distention due to partial or complete intestinal obstruction
Side Effects
- Alkaluria
- Predisposition to nephrolithiasis by forming precipitation of calcium phosphate
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoid in the first trimester of pregnancy

- Reduction in absorption of tetracycline when given concomitantly
