Description
- Neugaba is indicated for neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN), postherpetic neuralgia (PHN), adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.
Indications
- Neuropathic pain relief
- Management of partial-onset seizures
- Treatment of fibromyalgia
Pharmacology
- Structural derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)
- High affinity to the alpha2-delta site in central nervous system tissues
Dosage
- Maximum recommended dose of Pregabalin is 100 mg three times a day for DPN
- Recommended dose of Pregabalin is 75 to 150 mg two times a day for PHN
- Recommended dose of Pregabalin is 300 to 450 mg/day for fibromyalgia
Administration
- Oral route of administration
- Take with or without food
- Swallow whole, do not split, crush, or chew

- Unlikely to be involved in significant pharmacokinetic drug interactions

- Known hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any of its components
