Description
- Neuropathic pain relief

Dosage
- 100 mg three times a day for DPN (300 mg/day)
- 165 mg once daily for Pregabalin CR
- 75 to 150 mg two times a day or 50 to 100 mg three times a day for PHN (150 to 300 mg/day)
- 300 to 450 mg/day for fibromyalgia
- 150 to 600 mg/day for spinal cord injury
- Dose adjustment based on individual patient response and tolerability
Administration
- Oral route
- Can be taken with or without food
- Pregabalin CR tablet should be administered after an evening meal
- Swallowed whole, not split, crushed, or chewed
- Gradual tapering when discontinuing

Pregnancy & Lactation
- No adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women

- Breastfeeding not recommended
Precautions & Warnings
- Angioedema
- Hypersensitivity reactions
- Increased risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior
- Respiratory depression with concomitant CNS depressants
- Impairment of ability to drive or operate machinery
- Caution with coadministering with thiazolidinedione antidiabetic agents
Use in Special Populations
- Safety and effectiveness not established in pediatric patients
- Not established for patients below 1 month of age
