Pharmacology
- Anti-epileptic activity against various seizures
- Increase brain levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)
Dosage & Administration
- Oral administration
- Tablets may be given once or twice daily
- Syrup should be given in divided doses
- Initial dosage for adults and children
- Maximum dosage for adults and children
- Injection administration for adults and children
Interaction
- Non-specific inhibitor of drug metabolism
- Interacts with Phenobarbital, Phenytoin, Warfarin, Aspirin
