Composition
- Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel BP (Al2O3, 47% minimum): 425.53 mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide BP: 400 mg
- Simethicone USP: 30 mg
- Aluminium Oxide (Equivalent amount of Aluminium Hydroxide Gel USP): 200 mg
- Simethicone USP: 30 mg
Pharmacology
- Non-systemic acid neutralizing
- Antiflatulent
- Relief of ulcer
- Antifoam properties
- Physiologically inert
Dosage & Administration
- 1-2 tablets 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
- 1-2 teaspoonful 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
Interaction
- May increase or decrease absorption of oral drugs
- Decrease bioavailability of certain drugs
- Increase bioavailability of certain drugs
Contraindications
- Renal failure
- Hypophosphataemia
- Severe debilitation
- Alkalosis
- Hypermagnesaemia
