Indications

Dosage & Administration

Interaction
- Reported confusion, irritability, and sleep disorders with thyroid extract
- No observed interaction with specific anti-epileptic drugs
Contraindications
- Contra-indicated in severe renal insufficiency and hepatic impairment
- Monitoring of renal function recommended

- Nervousness, agitation, irritability, anxiety, and sleep disturbances
- Fatigue, drowsiness, gastrointestinal problems
- Vertigo, headaches, trembling, and sexual stimulation reported occasionally
