Description
- Ambroxol syrup is indicated for productive cough, acute and chronic inflammatory disorders of upper and lower respiratory tracts, inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, asthmatic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, chronic pneumonia, and more. It has pharmacological properties that improve sputum rheology, stimulate production of surfactant, and reduce bronchial hyperactivity. It comes in pediatric drops, syrup, and sustained release capsule forms.

Pharmacology
