Indications

Dosage & Administration
- Once daily dosage
- Can be taken without regard to meals
- Individualized therapy management
- Initiation at 15 mg or 30 mg once daily
- Maximum recommended dose of 45 mg once daily
- Consider combination therapy for inadequate response
- Maximum dose of 45 mg for combination therapy
Interaction
- Reduces plasma concentration of oral contraceptives
- Reduces plasma concentration of ethinyl oestradiol and norethindrone by approximately 30%

- Hypersensitivity to any components

Pregnancy & Lactation

- Exerts antihyperglycaemic effect only in the presence of Insulin
- Not for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis treatment
- Caution in combination therapy and hepatic insufficiency
- Regular liver enzyme monitoring
