Dosage & Administration

Pharmacologic Mechanism

  • Sitagliptin: Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor
  • Metformin HCl: Decreases hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose, increases peripheral glucose uptake
