Indications
- Infertility treatment for females - anovulation or oligo-ovulation
- Infertility treatment for males - oligospermia and poor sperm motility
- Lactational amenorrhoea treatment
- Psychogenic amenorrhoea treatment
- Post-oral contraceptive amenorrhoea treatment

Pharmacology
- Mainly antiestrogenic effects
- Some estrogenic effects
- Stimulates ovulation
- Increase in gonadotropins secretion
- Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secretion
- Luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion
Dosage & Administration
- Female dosage: 50mg daily for 5 days
- Male dosage: 25mg once daily up to 90 days
- Patients undergoing haemodialysis dosage
- Elderly dosage
- Time to peak effect: 4 to 10 days after the last day of treatment
