Description
Danzol is indicated for the treatment of endometriosis, benign breast disease, menorrhagia, gynecomastia, and preoperative thinning of the endometrium before hysteroscopic endometrial ablation. It works as a gonadotropin inhibitor, suppressing the pituitary-ovarian axis, reducing ovarian estrogen production, directly inhibiting ovarian steroidogenesis, and binding to androgen, progesterone, and glucocorticoid receptors. The dosage & administration, interactions, contraindications, side effects, precautions, and storage conditions need to be carefully considered. This medicine belongs to the therapeutic class of drugs affecting (inhibiting) gonadotrophin.
