Lynes 0.05 mg+2.5 mg (Tablet)

Indications

• Combipack of Lineestrenol and Ethinyl Estradiol for oral contraceptive use

Dosage

• First tablet of the first pack should be taken on the first day of the menstrual cycle
• Follow the same method when switching to another brand of contraceptive
• Take one tablet daily at the same time for 22 days
• Then have a tablet-free period for 6 days
• Start the tablets from the next pack the day after the end of the tablet-free period

Administration

• Wait until the start of the next menstrual cycle to begin the new pack
• Follow the specific day marking on the pack for the first tablet to be taken on the first day of the menstrual cycle
• If menstrual cycle is missed for more than 5 days, start taking the first tablet from the fifth day after the first day of the presumed cycle

Contraindications

• Cardiovascular diseases such as thrombophlebitis and thromboembolic processes
• Severe hypertension
• Severe liver diseases or history of cholestatic jaundice or liver function remained abnormal after previous steroid use
• Estrogen-dependent tumors
• Endometrial hyperplasia
• Vaginal bleeding of unknown cause
• Porphyria
• Hyperlipoproteinemia, especially in presence of risk factors for cardiovascular disease

Side Effects

• Temporary side effects such as headache, nausea, weight gain, mood changes, breast tenderness, high blood pressure

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Not to be used during pregnancy

Precautions & Warnings

• If a tablet is missed, take it as soon as remembered and continue with the next tablets as per schedule
• If more than 12 hours have passed, the efficacy of the tablet decreases and two tablets will need to be taken the next day
