Indications
- Treatment of infections caused by gram-positive bacteria
- Treatment of penicillinase-producing staphylococcal infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Respiratory tract, nasal, ear, and throat infections
- Sensitive and other bacterial infections like osteomyelitis, enteritis, endocarditis, urinary tract infections, septicemia
Dosage & Administration
- 500mg orally four times a day
- 250mg-500mg intramuscular injection every 4-6 hours
- 500mg intravenous injection in pleural or joint cavities once a day
- Dosage for children varies based on age

- Preparation and administration precautions for syrups and drops
Contraindications
- Contraindicated for patients hypersensitive to penicillin
