Indications

Pharmacology

  • Active against Gram-positive organisms
  • Resistance to hydrolysis by penicillinase
  • Bactericidal antibiotic
  • Inhibition of bacterial cell wall formation

Dosage

  • Oral administration
  • Adult dosage: 250 mg four times daily
  • Children dosage: 1/2 or 1/4 of adult dose
  • Parenteral administration
  • Intramuscular and Intravenous injection dosages

Administration

  • Oral administration 1 hour before meal

Interaction

  • Concurrent use may increase blood levels of Flubiotic

Contraindications

  • Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
