Indications
- Skin and soft tissue infections

Pharmacology
- Active against Gram-positive organisms
- Little activity against Gram-negative bacilli
- Inhibits formation of cell wall
- Bactericidal antibiotic
- Kills bacterial cell wall
- Interferes with peptidoglycan synthesis
Dosage
- Oral administration for adults: 250 mg four times daily
- Parenteral administration for adults: 250 mg-1 g four times daily
- Dosage may be doubled in severe infections
- Oral doses should be administered 1 hour before meal

Interaction
Concurrent use of Flucloxin may result in increased level of Flucloxin in blood for prolonged period
Contraindications
Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
