Active against Gram-positive organisms
Inhibition of cell wall formation in bacteria
Bactericidal antibiotic
Resistance to hydrolysis by penicillinase
Activity against penicillinase-producing staphylococci

Dosage

Oral administration for adults, children, and elderly
Parenteral administration for adults, elderly, and children
Recommended dosage adjustments for severe infections
Oral doses to be administered 1 hour before meal

Concurrent use may result in increased levels of Flupen in blood

Contraindications

Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
