Indications
- Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
- Treatment of respiratory tract infections

Pharmacology
- Active against Gram-positive organisms
- Little activity against Gram-negative bacilli
- Inhibits the formation of bacterial cell wall
- Bactericidal antibiotic
- Resists action of bacterial penicillinase
Dosage
- Oral administration for adults, children, and elderly
- Parenteral administration for adults, children, and elderly
Administration
- Oral doses to be administered 1 hour before a meal
Interaction
- Concurrent use may result in increased level of Flurif in blood for prolonged period
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
