Indications

Pharmacology
Broad spectrum penicillin effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
Dosage
- Adult dosage: 250-500 mg three times daily
- Children dosage: 125-250 mg three times daily
- Special dosage for severe or recurrent purulent respiratory infection
- Special dosage for otitis media
- Special dosage for pneumonia
- Special dosage for dental abscess
- Special dosage for urinary tract infections
- Special dosage for gonorrhoea
- Adjustment in renal impairment
Administration
Reconstituted suspension can be administered by mixing with milk, fruit juice, or water
Interaction
Concurrent use with Probenecid may increase and prolong blood levels
Contraindications
Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
