Indications
- Ear, nose and throat infections

Pharmacology
Effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
Dosage
- Adult: 250 mg three times daily, increasing up to 500 mg three times daily for severe infections
- Children: 125 mg three times daily, increasing up to 250 mg three times daily for severe infections
Administration
Reconstituted suspension can be administered by adding the required amount of suspension to milk, fruit juice, or water
Interaction
Concurrent use of Bactamox and Probenecid may result in increased and prolonged blood levels of Bactamox
Contraindications
Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients

Pregnancy & Lactation
US FDA pregnancy category of Amoxicillin is B. Caution should be exercised when administered to a lactating mother
Precautions & Warnings
