Pharmacology
- Broad spectrum penicillin

Dosage
- Adult dosage: 250 mg three times daily
- Higher dosage for severe infections
- Children dosage: 125 mg three times daily
- Higher dosage for severe infections in children
- Specific dosage for respiratory infections, otitis media, pneumonia, dental abscess, urinary tract infections, gonorrhoea
- Dosage adjustment required in renal impairment
Administration
- Reconstituted suspension can be administered with milk, fruit juice, water
- Immediate consumption of prepared suspension
Interaction
- Increased and prolonged blood levels when used with Probenecid
- Impact on gut flora and estrogen reabsorption when used with combined oral contraceptives

- Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
