Description

Pharmacology

Interaction
- Concurrent use with Probenecid increases and prolongs blood levels of Amoxicillin
- May reduce efficacy of combined oral estrogen/progesterone contraceptives
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to penicillin

- Mild and transient, including diarrhea, indigestion, rash; rare reports of pseudo-membranous colitis
