Dosage
- Adult dosage of 250mg three times daily
- Adult dosage of 500mg three times daily for severe infections
- Children dosage of 125mg three times daily
- Children dosage of 250mg three times daily for severe infections
Administration
- Reconstituted suspension can be administered with milk, fruit juice, or water
Interaction
- Concurrent use with Probenecid may result in increased and prolonged blood levels
- May affect gut flora and lower estrogen reabsorption
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in penicillin hypersensitive patients
