Description
- Acid-stable
- Semi-synthetic oral cephalosporin
- Rapidly absorbed after oral administration
Pharmacology
- Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis
- Binds to penicillin-binding proteins
- Arrests cell wall assembly resulting in bacterial cell death
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage for pharyngitis and tonsillitis
- Adult dosage for urinary tract infections
- Adult dosage for skin and skin structure infections
- Child dosage
- May be taken with meals or on an empty stomach

- No significant drug interaction with other drugs

- Hypersensitivity to Cefadroxil or any of its ingredients
