Indications

Treatment of infections caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
Upper respiratory tract infections
Lower respiratory tract infections
Urinary tract infections
Skin and soft tissue infections

Pharmacology

Semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
Active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms
Inhibition of cross-linking process in cell wall of bacteria

Dosage & Administration

For oral administration in adults and children
For injectable administration in adults and children
Dosage adjustment in renal impairment
Maximum daily dosage for children

Interaction

Increased risk of kidney damage with concomitant use of nephrotoxic drugs
Enhanced renal toxicity with diuretics and probenecid

Storage Conditions

Fresh preparation of Avlosef Suspension
Reconstituted Suspension should be used within 7-14 days
Injection solutions should be used within 2 hours at room temperature
