Recommended usage adults
- Urinary tract infections: 500mg-1g four times daily

Recommended usage children
- Total daily dose of 25-50mg/kg in divided doses
- Otitis media: Total daily dose of 75-100mg/kg in divided doses
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
Interactions
- Increased risk of kidney damage with nephrotoxic drugs
- Enhanced renal toxicity with diuretics and probenecid
