Pharmacology

  • Semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
  • Active against gram-positive microorganisms

  • Inhibits cross-linking process in bacterial cell wall
  • Causes lysis of bacteria due to external osmotic pressure

Interaction
