Indications

  • Treatment of infections caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
  • Upper respiratory tract infections including sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis
  • Lower respiratory tract infections like bronchitis and pneumonia
  • Urinary tract infections such as cystitis and pyelonephritis
  • Skin and soft tissue infections like abscess and cellulitis
  • Susceptibility to specific microorganisms and strains

Pharmacology

  • Semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
