Indications

  • Active against Gram-positive bacteria

Pharmacology

  • Broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
  • Active against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms
  • Inhibition of cross-linking process in bacteria's cell wall
  • Resultant formation of cell wall with porous structure leading to bacterial lysis
