Description
- Sicef DS is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
- Cephradine is a semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic.

Interaction
- Nephrotoxic drugs such as aminoglycosides may increase the risk of kidney damage when used concomitantly with Cefradine
- Enhanced possibility of renal toxicity with diuretics and probenecid

- Regular bacteriological and clinical monitoring for chronic urinary tract infections
- Paediatric dosages should not exceed those specified for adults
- Transfer from intramuscular/intravenous Sicef DS therapy to oral treatment at the same dosage level

- Non-specific symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea
