Indications

  • Treating infections caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
  • Upper respiratory tract infections
  • Lower respiratory tract infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Susceptible microorganisms (gram-positive and gram-negative)

Pharmacology

  • Cephradine is a semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
  • Active against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms
  • Inhibits cross-linking process in bacterial cell wall
  • Main site of action is the cell wall of bacteria
