Indications
- Treating infections caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Lower respiratory tract infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Susceptible microorganisms (gram-positive and gram-negative)
Pharmacology
- Cephradine is a semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
- Active against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms
- Inhibits cross-linking process in bacterial cell wall
- Main site of action is the cell wall of bacteria
