Dosage
- Adolescents and Adults Dosage: 250 mg b.i.d. to 1000 mg Single Dose
- Paediatric Patients Dosage: 20 mg/kg/day b.i.d. to 30 mg/kg/day b.i.d.
- Adult Parenteral Dosage: 750 mg to 3 gm Three Times Daily
- Children Parenteral Dosage: 30 - 100 mg/kg/day
- Neonate Parenteral Dosage: 30 - 100 mg/kg/day
- Surgical Prophylaxis Dosage: 1.5 gm at Induction of Anaesthesia
- Pneumonia Dosage: 1.5 gm IV Injection Twice Daily
- Acute Exacerbations of Chronic Bronchitis Dosage: 750 mg Twice Daily
- Gonorrhoea Dosage: 1.5 gm as a Single Dose
- Meningitis Dosage: 3 gm IV Injection Three Times Daily
- Bone and Joint Infections Dosage: 1.5 gm IV Injection Four Times Daily
