SideEffects

  • Amlodipine: Rarely reported acute hypotension
  • Atorvastatin: Elevation in serum creatine phosphokinase levels, myalgia

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to Amlodipine
  • Hypersensitivity to any component of Atorvastatin
  • Active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations of serum transaminases exceed three times the upper limit of normal

DrugInteraction

  • Atorvastatin interaction with cyclosporine, fibric acid derivatives, niacin, erythromycin, azole antifungals
