Pharmacology

  • Broad-spectrum bactericidal activity
  • Good stability to bacterial β-lactamase
  • Active against ampicillin-resistant and amoxycillin-resistant strains

  • Adolescents and adults dosage
  • Paediatric Patients dosage
  • Parenteral dosage
  • Surgical prophylaxis dosage
  • Pneumonia dosage
  • Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis dosage

Administration

  • Use of freshly reconstituted solution recommended
  • Potency maintenance for at least 24 hours at room temperature or 48 hours at 5°C

  • No adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women
  • Excretion in human milk

  • Caution in patients with history of colitis
