Description
- Orally active antibiotic
- Effective against a wide variety of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms
- Marked in-vitro bactericidal activity
- Indicated for upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) and lower respiratory tract infections
- Indicated for urinary tract infections (UTI)
- Antibiotic for oral administration
- Bactericidal against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria
- Interferes with the synthesis of bacterial cell wall
- Highly stable in the presence of beta-lactamase enzyme
- Absorption unaffected by food
- Recommended adult dosage is 200-400 mg daily
- Suitable for use in children over 10 years

- Caution in patients receiving anticoagulant therapy
