Indications
- Treatment of Upper Respiratory Tract Infections

Pharmacology
- Third generation semisynthetic cephalosporin antibiotic

Dosage & Administration
- Usual course of treatment is 7 days
- Recommended adult dosage is 200-400 mg daily
- Dosage may vary based on severity of infection

- Dosage adjustment in severe renal impairment
Interaction
- Increases in prothrombin times observed
