Dosage & Administration
- Usual Course of Treatment is 7 Days
- Adult Dosage 200-400 mg Daily Depending on Infection Severity
- Elderly Patients May Receive Same Dose as Adults
- Recommended Dosage for Children 8 mg/kg/day
- Dosage Adjustment in Severe Renal Impairment
Interaction
- Increases in Prothrombin Times
- Caution in Patients Receiving Anticoagulant Therapy
