Technical Specifications
- Administered intravenously or intramuscularly
- Usual adult dosage is 1 gram every 8 to 12 hours
- Dosage range for adults is 1 to 6 gm per day

- Dosage range for neonates and children up to 2 months is 25 to 60 mg/kg/day

Administration

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ceftazidime or the cephalosporin group of antibiotics
