Indications

Pharmacology
- Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory properties
- Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase
- Aceclofenac has analgesic properties
- Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose for adults: one 200 mg extended release tablet daily
- Recommended dose for adults: 100 mg film coated tablet twice daily
Interaction
- No significant drug interactions observed
- Close monitoring required when used with lithium and digoxin
- May interact with diuretics
- May enhance the activity of anticoagulants
- May increase the plasma level of methotrexate
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to aceclofenac
- Contraindicated in patients where aspirin or NSAIDs precipitate asthma attacks
Side Effects

Pregnancy & Lactation
