Indications

Pharmacology
- Fixed-dose combination of Amlodipine and Atenolol
- Amlodipine as a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist
- Amlodipine as a peripheral vasodilator
- Atenolol as a cardioselective beta-blocker
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dosage of Amlodipine and Atenolol 5/25 mg tablet once daily
- Possibility of increasing dosage to 5/25 mg two tablets daily
- Individualized dosage as advised by physicians
Interaction
- Interaction with disopyramide
- Interaction with ampicillin
- Interaction with oral antidiabetics and insulin
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Sinus bradycardia
- Second and higher degrees of heart block
- Cardiogenic shock
- Hypotension
- Congestive heart failure
- Poor left ventricular function
