Indications

Pharmacology

Dosage

  • Recommended daily dosage for adults
  • Dosage for various infections in adults
  • Dosage for children based on weight and type of infection
  • No experience in children with hepatic or renal impairment

Administration

  • Intravenous administration via infusion or bolus

Interaction

  • Competes with Probenecid for renal excretion
  • May reduce serum valproic acid levels
